This is a very basic form home automation. Normally, these modules are designed in such a way that they fit easily behind a conventional switchboard. Mostly suitable for a system where the electrical installation is complete and there is no further scope of electrical wiring. The normal switches are connected to the input of the module, while the output is connected to the load. After having connected such a module, the electrical load can be switched ON/OFF either by mobile app from anywhere in the world or by switches provided on the switch board itself. It can also be made ON/OFF by voice command through Google assistant or amazon echo device. ON /OFF scheduling can also the done through a mobile app.
